Leverage Conifer’s funding round to raise awareness of its one-of-a-kind, rare earth materials free electric hub motor, taking advantage of the ongoing trade war with China to tell a strong ex-US independence story that resonates with new customers and investors.

The Strategy

The Escalate PR team was brought on to introduce Conifer to key reporters and drive media coverage using their Seed round fundraise as a news hook. The media approach focused on Conifer’s technical innovation, the founders’ extensive experience in the industry, and connected issues in the current news cycle to drive interest. The Escalate team engaged with business, VC, technology, motor and consumer media outlets to highlight the company’s new, innovative small electric motors and its rare-earth material agnostic technology.
